The attached lid flips open while remaining connected to the base, eliminating the need to find a place to set a separate butter dish lid. Beautiful natural wood grain makes every piece unique, while your choice of an elegant matte black or satin brass handle adds a sophisticated finishing touch that complements both modern and traditional kitchens.

Despite its compact design, Butterie comfortably holds 8 ounces (250 grams), or two sticks of butter. It's designed to accommodate American butter stick sizes as well as popular European-style butters, including Kerrygold, Président, and Plugrà. It can even be used to hold a standard block of cream cheese.

A matching spreader is included and stores neatly in the specially designed magnetic cradle on the front of the dish. The spreader snaps securely into place, keeping it conveniently within reach whenever you're ready to serve.
